Officer Facilitation Training is provided to all Committee and Forum Officers to help them better facilitate discussion and decision making in their committee meetings and forums.  

The objective of this training program is to help officers facilitate group discussions, encourage engagement and participation, and manage the group decision-making process. We will also learn basic techniques for managing a forum with different programs and speakers.  This training will be interactive and require some pre-work to prepare for Assembly of Committees.  

Training will be conducted in two parts.  The first session is a webinar on July 8, 2010 at 2:00 pm EST.  The second session is a classroom based workshop on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 5:00 pm.   

Committee Officers are strongly encouraged to attend both parts of the training.
